Our Natural Deodorant Stones are made out of crystallized alum salts taken from natural mineral springs and grown over several months. The stones are then cut and shaped.
Free from harsh chemicals, perfumes, oils, emulsifiers or alcohol. NO aluminium chlorohydrate or parabens.
The stone works by leaving a fine layer of natural mineral salts on the skin, which is not absorbed into the body; (Potassium Alum molecules have a negative ionic charge, making it unable to pass through cell walls) this prevent the growth of bacteria which are the primary cause of odour.
These deodorants are safe to use and will not cause high levels of alumium in your system. ('Alum' and 'Aluminium are two different substances, with distinct chemical signatures.)
Each stone is presented in a lovely little basket; stone shapes may slightly vary. Hand cut in Thailand.
Directions: Apply to wet skin, staight after a shower or bath, or Wet and moisten the stone and rub generously onto the areas that need protection.
After use place on a dry surface to air dry.
